Agricultural giant, Monsanto whose contribution to the Vietnam War was Agent Orange began creating Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) several years ago, with what sounds like very a noble statement that includes topics like Integrity, Transparency, Sharing and Respect. Even their commitment to Sustainable Agriculture with the lofty goals of doubling farmers yields by 2030, using 1/3 fewer acres and 1/3 of the water currently consumed by farmers and improving the quality of life, including 5 million people in resource-poor farm families by 2020 is very impressive.
My knee is better after my fall through a rotting roof almost 2 1/2 weeks ago when I shared a post by Backdoor Survival about the need for Physical Training for Preppers.
At that time, I agreed with them that P.T. and Endurance Training is as important as the mental preparation and choices that have to be considered in any emergency situation. I also said that once my knee was better that I would begin hiking/walking with my girlfriend, Elizabeth.
There are lots of reasons to be a Prepper or Homesteader no matter where you live or how much you have already, that just make so much sense that everyone should be doing these things!! I am not suggesting everyone begins believing that the world as we know it will end tomorrow or that society will collapse.
