
He was a happy go lucky sort, always quick to make you laugh and to help someone in need and to listen to their troubles while battling his own.
One of my fondest memories was the night he and I were feeding the stage horses in their corral and one of the newer horses Gizmo nipped him on the arm. Dennis turned to me, asked if I had seen that and what should he do. I said bite him back on the lip, half jokingly. He shrugged, turned around caught Gizmo and bit him on the lip. We laughed for a long time over that bite.
His life came to a tragic end this past week, the day after his 34th birthday. He was laid to rest yesterday. Dennis, you will be missed but never forgotten and I am glad you were part of our lives though for far to briefly!!
